lusAt first, I thought “hey, why don’t I begin my 21 day fix the day after Christmas!” Because at the time it sounded like a great idea. Of course, I woke up this morning and realized what a terrible idea that was. I definitely need an extra day or two to get prepared. My parents always host Christmas Day, which if fun and all, but not the day after, and not since I still live there. I’ve got to tackle a few things before I even think about Grocery shopping and meal prepping and doing workouts on the DVD.
EXHIBIT ONE, THE FRIDGE
This is the upstairs fridge, the downstairs fridge is even more packed. I need to figure out who we are going to give all these leftovers to, because I am the only one in the house who usually eats leftovers, and starting tomorrow, I will be eating none of them. So they are taking up precious 21 Day Approved meal spaces. (How dare they!)
EXHIBIT TWO, THE BEDROOM
I won’t lie, my bedroom is always messy. But shoving all your Christmas presents in there, plus the ones you haven’t given yet, PLUS trying to make the rest of the house look clean for guests (aka just shove everything in my room). I also really need to do some laundry (not seen in photo). And this is only half my room!
EXHIBIT THREE, THE REST OF THE HOUSE + COOKIES GALORE!
Of course, we have to clean the table and put away the Christmas dishes, and do the dishes, etc etc. If you’ve hosted a holiday, you know the struggles. And we had about 13 people over, so it’s no small get together!
And all of the desserts that were leftover- staring me down and begging me to eat them! What’s a girl to do?!!
OK. I’m done complaining.
But I will be super productive today, make the house spotless and the fridge roomy, and I will go to the food store and stock up on 21 day approved foods and clear the living room for a workout-friendly area… and I will start my 21 day challenge tomorrow!!!! HOORAAYYYY!!!!
